display hide count

I assume that the public profile is what other people see, but what you've got at the top there is just what you see when you're logged into geocaching.com, and you should know how many caches you've hidden!

You could say the same for cache finds. But yet, they display them.

Not only are they displayed, but on ones "myprofile" page they're displayed in the header, in those grey boxes just under the "Hello <geoacher name>" section, and a third time in the "Stat bar" section.

While the programmers are working on that page to remove all traces of challenges I'd suggest adding the hide count to the section in the header as the OP suggested, removing those ugly grey boxes and the stat bar (which is still available from the "View Stat Bar" link.)
