+Team Pixos
Last winter I bought some coins from a store in Sweden. I'm in Canada. I went to activate the coins and was good with all but one. A yellow corvette said it was owned by a cacher and it was in his collection. Austrian or some language like that. I contacted store owner; she said she would look into it. This went on for a few months. The registered owner of the coin never replied to any emails I had sent. The store owner had been very slow and not responding. Finally said she would ship me another one. By this time PayPal dispute time had expired. In June/ July I had a cardiac arrest and was hospitalized for three months. I've never had this coin issue resolved. And yes missing yellow makes the set incomplete. I paid for it. What's your advice? Quote Link to comment
+Droo
Yikes.... Try going through Groundspeak. If the Swedish store can confirm you bought the coin from them that they had bought legitimately from the registered owner who is now unavailable to initiate adoption papers they may be able to override that and do it for you. +mamoreb
Not sure I can help a lot. Just wanted to say that I hope you feel better. If you think it might help the communication with the Swedish store, I could translate your message into Norwegian/Swedish for you. Quote Link to comment
+Team Pixos
Actually the Swedish store owner is pretty good at English. It's the owner of the coin that I don't know what language it is. Thanks for the well wishes. I've been out of hospital for over a week now. Love being home. Quote Link to comment
+MuzzaDazzler
Don't mean to be rude but I remember seeing another post about a trackable that went on a massive journey whilst still in the packaging with the owner !!! It was that an o and a zero got mixed up that time. Could it be that something like this is going on here? Best wishes for a speedy recovery. Quote Link to comment
