+SpongeRob
Inspired by geocaching and having a really strange sense of humor... I decided to go out on a limb and create some Geocaching T-Shirts, mousepads, etc... Some with some really bad play on words (those with a warped sense of humor may enjoy them). For those of you that might be interested in having a shirt that's a bit off the beaten trail for your next geocaching event you can check out my geocaching page on my personal website. I'm adding new ones all the time as I come up with something wacky. http://www.keenpeople.com/geocaching/shirts.shtml -- SpongeRob rwmech@keenpeople.com www.keenpeople.com WPWU826 Cache'n Retrievers Quote Link to comment
+Hiemdahl
Outstanding! keep up the good work. I will be ordering some things for #2 son and daughter-in-law. Quote Link to comment
+SpongeRob
Thank you so much for your vote of confidence. I'm working on quite a few ideas so there should be more on the way. I'm also putting some non-humorous ones up as well as I have quite a bit of photos and such that should make some great T-Shirts. I would have never thought that Geocaching has given me an outlet for some of my photography and creative work. -- SpongeRob rwmech@keenpeople.com www.keenpeople.com WPWU826 Cache'n Retrievers Quote Link to comment
+Hiemdahl
Have you considered making custom "signature" cache-cards for other cachers? What would something like that cost? Quote Link to comment
+SpongeRob
It all depends on what youre looking for. Considering I'm not an artist by trade I certainly can't expect outrageous fees. Most of my photo work I usually say "Make Offer" and go from there. Drop me a line offline and we can talk. +Dekaner
Did you get permission from Jeremy to both modify the Geocaching logo and redistribute it for profit? http://www.geocaching.com/about/logousage.asp The Groundspeak Geocaching Logos may be used only on non-commercial items. These items may include, but are not limited to shirts, hats, coins, logbooks, stickers and cache containers. If the lifetime use of the design is less than 25 units, you may consider permission automatically granted. These items may not, under any circumstance, be sold. All Groundspeak Geocaching logos are to be used "as they appear" and are not to be cut up or resized or altered without express written permission of Groundspeak. - Dekaner of Team KKF2A Quote Link to comment

Dekaner, I don't believe he has used the geocaching logo anywhere on the products. Have you looked at them? There are no logos. Jamie Quote Link to comment
+Gimpy
here? Monday is an awful way to spend 1/7th of your life. Quote Link to comment
+Dekaner
Sorry, meant to be more specific. Gimpy is right, I was referring to the "Cache'n Retriever" team gear. - Dekaner of Team KKF2A Quote Link to comment
+SpongeRob
The few discernable dark pixels that may be up for debate have been removed. I don't want to infringe on anyone's artwork. -- SpongeRob rwmech@keenpeople.com www.keenpeople.com WPWU826 Cache'n Retrievers Quote Link to comment
+CoronaKid
I laughed when I read the wife tshirt. The possibilities for shirts and mugs is endless. Some other ideas you may consider: You know your a geocacher when....and then list 5 items. Or, A satellite image of any location with an an arrow pointing to a dot that says "You are here." You could even put the coordinates. Or to expand upon the wife theme idea, I'm married to a GeoGeek. --CoronaKid Quote Link to comment
+SpongeRob
Thanks, those are great ideas. If you don't mind I'll act upon those. -- SpongeRob rwmech@keenpeople.com www.keenpeople.com WPWU826 Cache'n Retrievers Quote Link to comment
CacheMonkeez
Laughed at the wife thing, but got a couple of suggestions: - the chick icon looks like a dude in a skirt. Need to make the skirt bigger or copy one of those icons from a bathroom. - change "insure" to "ensure" Good stuff quote:Originally posted by SpongeRob:Inspired by geocaching and having a really strange sense of humor... +SpongeRob
I added some new Geocaching USA shirts. No matter if your for or against the war you can still show your patriotic side. (providing of course you have one or live in the USA). Please no comments for war/no war. If youre not interested just pass it by. http://www.keenpeople.com/geocaching/shirts.shtml -- SpongeRob rwmech@keenpeople.com www.keenpeople.com WPWU826 Cache'n Retrievers Quote Link to comment
