foxtrot_xray
Saw one, up in Wyoming. However, it had been ripped from the rock.. . Station F 77 Thought it was odd - they drilled a hole in the rock, put it in, and cemented it in. Apparently wind or buffalo or cattle were too aggressive wanting their backs scratched, and eventually broke it off. Only one I've seen like that. (The other oddity was an unset wold witness post sign, on the post. Apparently the ground was too rocky, and didn't feel like digging, so they left the entire pole and sign leaning against a rock. Sign and post looked *new*.) Quote Link to comment
