cache archived geocoin retrieved but can not logg it out

hallo i have a problem and i hope that anyone can help me my geocoins has be in a cache who is closed now , i have been there to take it out but i cannot logg it out of this cache because he i close so what can i do to have it list in my inventory...srry about my englisch but i come from luxemburg....thanke for your help

It shouldn't matter that the cache is archived, just log a retrieve using the tracking code. You could also try the "grabbed from somewhere else" log option.

1. Go to your trackable's page on geocaching.com.

2. Click to 'Add a Log Entry'.

3. Type of Log = 'retrieve' from the cache.

4. Enter the tracking number and a comment, then submit.

 

Note: The status of the cache is not important.
