Steinninn
I'm just wondering if you use GC code on a regular basis. I've created a geotrail with 15 caches around Iceland all hidden at famous film locations. I'm printing pamphlets to distribute in hotels and tourist informations to advertise the geotrail. There is very little space, but I'll squeeze in a list of the 15 caches, and I was wondering if I should include the GC code. The main reason to have it is for people that are familiar with geocaching, they could use it to find the cache on their mobile phone more easily. The downside is that people that don't know what geocaching is might find having the code confusing. So I want to ask you, would it be of any help if you had these on a pamphlets? If you want to check out the geotrail, i created a facebook page for it at facebook.com/IFLgeotrail Quote Link to comment

+Lieblweb
Add the GC codes for the geocachers and add www.geocaching.com so the muggles (who are confused) can do their own research and look it up!! Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
I'd include it. However, I strongly suspect that avid Geocachers that are already in the area will know about all the local caches already and muggles will likely not take it up while visiting. Quote Link to comment
+St.Matthew
I'd also include it. I use GC codes, and I have a puzzle cache where the answer IS a GC code. Quote Link to comment
+Don_J
I almost never use the GC code but only because I almost exclusively work with geocaches on some sort of electronic device and I can link and browse around using other methods. If you were handing me a paper document of geocaches, I would want the GC code simply because that is the easiest way to look up a cache on the website, plus each is unique. Quote Link to comment
