+Chief301
Why do you want to show them a photo of where it is? Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of hiding it? Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Why do you want to show them a photo of where it is? Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of hiding it? Hmmmm.... maybe a little off-center, but I think the idea behind hiding the cache is to prevent inadvertent finds and 'muggling'. It's unusual for somebody to post of photo of where it's hidden, but certainly not wrong if a CO wishes a well-secreted cache to be found more often. EDIT to add: a forgotten but necessary "un". I have a cache that could possibly be hard to find so once I got about 50 feet away from the hide I took a picture. It doesn't show the exact location but it does show some landmarks that will help you zero in on GZ. Quote Link to comment
