+CrillyKids
Not a fan of the new Mapquest maps. I understand why they made the move, but when I change over to view the satellite photo, it rarely loads correctly and I end up going to Google Maps to see what I need to see. Anyone else having trouble with the Mapquest maps? Quote Link to comment

+wvgeoeagle3
The think I don't like about the new maps, they don't understand airport identifers. Type in KCRW and you get a map in some other contry insted of centering on the airport. Type in 'Charleston airport' is not much better. Google is great at centering on an airport. I have been known to use geocaching.com in planing fuel stops Other than that the maps are ok? I understand the change though Quote Link to comment
+Adjel
Ugh! Hate it just because of the satellite view issues. I really rely on that view and it rarely loads, unless you want a view zoomed out extremely far. If I try to zoom in, I get either huge chunks of missing data on the page (about 75%) or nothing at all. Very annoying. Quote Link to comment
+kbnjohnson
There are two enormous lakes within a stone's throw of my home and they don't even show up on the MapQuest poor excuse for maps. Is this an early April Fools joke? Quote Link to comment
+freebill
I too miss Google maps as it provides better detail in more remote parts of the world, plus the ever useful satellite views. Hopefully Google maps will once again be made available. Quote Link to comment

+Trucker Lee
Same problems. Slow to load, often no coverage, can't zoom coverage close enough sometimes (I use overhead views to confirm safe truck parking). Definitely not as good as the Google we had. Quote Link to comment

Perhaps that's because they haven't yet implemented the new version of Geocaching google maps. That links was just a pointer to an announcement that they planned on bringing back Google maps in some form on the "big map" page. Quote Link to comment
+GriffinsAKTP
The maps that Geocaching now use are truly awful. They are not detailed (no paths) and often don't load up at all. An alternative must be found soon or Geocaching will loose its appeal. Quote Link to comment
