Fiver1
If this exists and I just haven't found it, then please disregard this post. Would it be possible to add a measurement function to the new maps? It is very helpful to know how many miles one must hike to hunt a cache and it is also helpful to be able to define an area based on a specific radius. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
This is not a bug report; I'm moving this to the feature discussion and requests forum. Quote Link to comment
+6NoisyHikers
I would like to see this feature too - it's very helpful in deciding which NoisyHikers will be able to manage a wilderness cache. (Some of us like longer hikes than others! ) Quote Link to comment
+HEADLANDERS
This is very useful both for planning walks and also placing new caches to see separation of caches. Quote Link to comment
+AmethystPig
+1 for this from me too. As the bare minimum the map should at least have a dynamic scale - currently I don't know if I'm looking at a 1km or 10km area, which could make all the difference when planning a caching run. +Camper John
OK, thought I was missing something, but guess others noticed as well. No legend appears on any maps for distance (ft, miles, etc). So while zooming in and panning, I have nothing relating to distance. In my humble option, this is a major flaw. I use the scale as a 'quick reference' for hiding caches in a busy area. As well as a general idea of 'zoom factor' while reviewing a map. Quote Link to comment
