+Randy58
I reviewed the tutorial for the building of a Wherigo cartridge. I viewed the media files and they are all cartoon type images. Can one use their own jpeg files when building a Wherigo cartridge? I am building a tour of an area and wanted to use jpeg files containing images of local sites. Quote Link to comment
Ranger Fox
Yes, you can use whatever images you want (and are tasteful and appropriate) in your cartridge. For instance, in many of my cartridges, I included pictures of the area I took with my camera. In others, I found some drawings or pictures online that fit the story I was telling. +jonny65
Of course, with 3 restrictions...surely it occurs not so often, but don't use blackwhite jpgs with a color depth of 8bpp (256 colors), these pics can not be shown on oregon. Always convert to 24bpp...both, bw and color The picsize (width*height) has to fit on all devices, so use not greater than 230 pix width and 400 pix hight. Otherwise the pics could be skewed (Oregon) Sometimes you have to pay attention if you want to use pics from a website > copyright Edited February 11, 2012 by jonny65 Quote Link to comment
