Hello Geo Elmo, thank you for your comment. Much appreciated. I'm familiar with that method of the offline download fix. However, I like to use my phone as a backup while caching and prefer to use my gps device. It's more rugged then my phone, etc. Thanks again. Randy

I have increased my caching activities during the shutdown. I go by myself into the woods and find the caches and sign the logs. Most of the caches have not been found in months or years.

I have a GPX file that I would like to import into the "List" feature of Geocaching.com Is this feasible?

I've always used Pocket Queries. What is the difference between a Pocket Query and the List feature. I'm trying to figure out which one I should use. Note: I cache with a handheld GPS'r and an iPhone smart phone with the geocaching.com app.

Is it possible for the owner of a travel bug to stop receiving notifications each type a travel bug is found or moved? I have a travel bug that is in Europe and has been to several travel bug gatherings and while I am happy that the travel bug is still active, I grow tired of all of the notification emails from the cachers who copy the tracking number. Any suggestions?

Success! I changed my geocaching.com user name from "Giz" to Randy58. For whatever reason, changing the user name allowed the process to work and I was able to download the pocket queries. Observation: I wonder if my old user name caused conflicts with the API and Token Renewal. Was it a question of the old name? Did it have to do with quotation marks around my old user name? Did the Russians hack my account?

I authenticated several times today on Project GC and it was successful but the authorization was not listed on the authorization list within my settings on geocaching.com

I download the GSAK Freeware onto a new computer. Downloaded the update. Attempted to update the token. Got the message that it was successful. Tried to download PQ's and got the dreaded unauthorized token / corrupt message. I accessed Project GC com, did the "authentication" thingy. Got the message that I successfully "authenticated" my geocaching account. I then visited my profile on Geocaching.com and looked at my list of authorizations and GSAK and Project GC were not listed. The only items authorized is my Garmin and the geocaching forum. I feel like a GSAK junkie as I am spending crazy time on trying to get it to work properly.

The aforementioned suggestions did not work for me. Today I accessed my geocaching.com account and viewed my list of "authorizations" and GSAK is not listed for me. Note: prior to viewing the list, I renewed the token on GSAK. I feel like I am going backwards.

Thanks for your reply. I am familiar with the Control c and v function. I was wondering if there was a method of copying the entire cache write up and changing the cords, etc.

I am in the process of publishing new kayak caches whereby I have placed a container on a tree limb every 10th of a mile. I have ten caches to write up. Is there a way to simplify the creation and publication of a series of caches that have the same theme. Any advice?

What does GSAK show for Geocaching.com / Get Available Download Balance ? Full Format is 0; lite format is 10,000

When using the "get geocaches" featuring within "geocaching.com" feature within GSAK , I have been receiving an error message: "Cache download limit has been exceeded". However, I have not been able to download any caches so I don't understand how I have exceeded the limits? Is this an " I D 10 T" error?
