+klipsch49er
Just discovered thatmy Oregon 300 can find chirps. Well that begs the question, how do you know a cahce in your area has a chirp? Is there way to Pocket Querry them? For that matter where exactly are these Project APE caches that I can check a box for in a Pocket Querry? Then there is the Locationless (reverse) Cache?? I have never seen any of this in any Pocket Querries. Anyone know where they may be or how to find them in my area? Quote Link to comment
+HHD
Ss far as I know there are only 2 ape caches left...one in Germany and one in Brazil. The location less caches have all been archived...and the chirp caches have a special beacon attribute. I believe they are all puzzle caches as well. Quote Link to comment

There is only one Ape cache left and it's in Brazil. The publication of location less (reverse) caches was abolished a long time ago. As far as I know they've all been archived. Chirp caches are usually published as mystery caches *and* should have the beacon attribute. However, a PQ of the nearest (to me) caches with the beacon attribute set includes quite a few multi caches, a few letterbox hybrids, and even a few traditionals (though it looks like most of those are not actually chirp caches. In any case, a PQ for caches with the beacon attribute set should find quite a few, although for me, the closest is almost 50 miles away and the second closest just over 100 miles away. +jellis
Yes Do a PQ with traditional, multi, puzzle and Wherigo. Then in the Attributes click only the beacon. Or Salsaguy (geocacher) has been keeping a pretty good up to date Bookmark list of Chirps. Quote Link to comment
