+eusty
I placed a cache a few weeks ago which was approved without any issues. Now I've just read this, which I wasn't aware of, and am wondering. I had permission to place the cache (this was noted on the cache page) and the reviewer didn't say anything...so what to do? Just leave things as they are? Quote Link to comment
+Fianccetto
A couple of war memorials have been badly vandalised in this area recently, so police are on the lookout for a couple of young men who fit the witnesses' description. For this reason, I wouldn't want to put a cache on a memorial, nor be searching for a cache on one (but especially around this time of year, in case someone had made a journey to pay their respects). If I did have a cache near a memorial & there is a ceremony held on 13th Nov or a procession there, I might want to disable the cache for the day to avoid any misunderstandings. Personally I like to be taken to a site like this, especially if it's part of a cache circuit highlighting local history and I like to stop and read the names on memorials. Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
You have permission, and say so on the cache page. Don't worry about it. Quote Link to comment
