+MMmm!!
I noticed that when I upload my field notes the timestamp is incorrect. It seems to be off by approx 7 hours. for example "GC1TQ0C,2011-09-28T01:19Z,Found it,"COOL HIDING SPOT" was actually found on 2011-09-27 18:19 I don't see where you can adjust time in the garmin 450. I am in PST (GMT-8) timezone. If anyone else knows how to fix it please let me know. TIA Edited September 28, 2011 by MMmm!! Quote Link to comment
+pppingme
See the "Z" after the time? That means Zulu, aka GMT, it is never localized time. Once uploaded to gc, they will adjust to your time zone, if you have it set correctly in your profile. Quote Link to comment
+MMmm!!
Well geocaching.com does not seem to adjust the time correctly. So as long as I don't find anything after 5pm I am A OK. I wonder why the time is off or if there is some setting on geocaching.com that I am missing. Quote Link to comment
