+GeoBain
"Muggle" (or geomuggle) is used by geocachers to refer to those not involved in or aware of the sport of geocaching. A cache that has been tampered with by non-participants is said to be plundered or "muggled". Quote Link to comment

Muggles are a nickname for non-geocachers, which usually know nothing about the game. What wary of muggles means, is that you should be careful not to attract them so they won't try to steal the cache after you leave. Have a wonderful first find, and welcome to the forums! +hobgoblinkiteflier
The word muggle comes from the Harry Potter books. One definition I saw and liked is "someone who does not know of the magic that surrounds them". Quote Link to comment
+WarNinjas
My daughter and I were geocaching the other day and a bike rider hit my car! I said loudly "DID THAT MUGGLER JUST HIT MY CAR?" The biker took off quickly and there was only tire marks on my car but my daughter thought it was so funny! She was like I wonder what he thought when you called him a muggler! Quote Link to comment
