Using geocoin to show FTF's question.

I am trying to use one of my geocoins to mark my FTF's. I moved a coin from my collection to my inventory. I then went to my first FTF and had the coin visit it on the date I got the FTF. I checked my coin's page and it shows I moved it to my collection, then to my inventory, but it does not show it visiting the cache (GC2FE25). What am I doing wrong?

I have a first to find coin that I always use to record my FTFs. The way I do it is to go to the cache page and write a note saying "I'm going to dip a coin to record my FTF and then I will delete this note so as not to clutter up the cache page" then I go down to check the coin as visiting and then submit it.

 

I do go back and delete the logs - it will not delete the visit.

Coin needs to be in your Inventory to dip visits, not your Collection. When you log your Find at the bottom of the page is a list of your Trackables Inventory - next to the coin you want to dip for a visit select visit and submit your Found it log.

Thanks for the info. I was able to have my geocoin visit the caches. Now that I know how to do it I will be able to log my FTF's properly. It's amazing how much you have to learn just to have some fun.
