+CacheFreakTim
As I start Geocaching more it seems the majority of caches around me are micros. I did a search around me and I would say 80% are micros And another 10% are small. Do you think there are too many micro caches out there and should we be focusing on making larger hides? +WRASTRO
Micros and smalls are not necessarily the issue. The issue is that many hides are in poor locations and have little or no redeeming value. In my area we actually have an informal NRV hide type where the CO states on the cache page the hide is of NRV. Hunt it if you will. Your choice. You have been warned. Link to comment
+Touchstone
Do you think there are too many micro caches out there and should we be focusing on making larger hides? I agree with the post above. The emphasis should be on a quality location. The size of the container is irrelevant to me. If it's an exceptional location, I sometimes don't even care if I end up finding the cache or not. Since you're a PM, you always have the option to run a PQ and filter for the cache size you prefer. Link to comment

+mtn-man
I hate to say it, but there is one too many topics about too many micros. Please refer to the post linked by the other canine with cool eye-wear. Link to comment
