+Uncle Alaska
I'm sure this has been covered before (I did a search but most of the topics involving pictures just talked about file sizes while others just talked about loading pictures in the log portion of the page...I already know about these things) I want to upload pictures to be included in the HTML for my cache pages....how do I specifically load them to the site, get their file names(or numbers...to use in the source code) so that I can use them? Can I delete them as well if they are not needed anymore? Thanks for the help -UA Link to comment
+Jamie Z
I think I understand your question, and here's how you do it. Upload images to your cache page using the [upload images] link. These images will be listed at the bottom of your cache description. Click on the images, which will give you the URL for the image. Now, using that URL and HTML you can put the images inside your cache page. To clean it up, you can actually [Delete] the images, which really doesn't delete the file, but removes the link at the bottom of your cache page. Jamie Link to comment
iryshe
We will be deleting archived images one of these days, so you should probably leave it listed. Although it is now there it may not be in the future. Jeremy Irish Groundspeak - The Language of Location Link to comment
+Markwell
Whoa nelly! I'm sure there are a LOT of people over the long while that have done just what Jamie suggested. Would it be possible to notify those that uploaded the images before they are summarily deleted? Markwell Chicago Geocaching Link to comment
