+The Blorenges
The URL for the MAGIC map changes today from http://www.magic.gov.uk/website/magic/ to http://magic.defra.gov.uk/website/magic/. Only really affects you if you've bookmarked it. The old URL redirects to the new one. Don't forget the very useful link for MAGIC, MagicMapIt! which allows you to check locations with your own coordinates (in any format). It's what we reviewers use . For more information on using the MagicMapIt! link and MAGIC itself please see my resource website (link below my signature). +Cornell Finch
Is it just me or is it broke right now? All I get on coordinates is the broken image icon. Quote Link to comment

Deceangi
As MAGIC is a Government owned and run website, they do not have IT cover in the Evenings/Weekends/Bank Holidays. Normal service will be back Monday Morning. With the Government Cuts, this is not going to change. Deci Quote Link to comment

+Graculus
I've had extensive email correspondence with the MAGIC team about these weekend outages which are NOT supposed to happen. I'm assured that if the IT team are doing anything at a weekend they are to make sure the site is back up again when they finish. They have been getting better and some weekend outages have been quite short. On the + side when it goes down like this MrsB and I can get out caching. We did 9 this afternoon and 1 DNF Chris Graculus Volunteer UK Reviewer for geocaching.com UK Geocaching Information & Resources website www.follow-the-arrow.co.uk Geocaching.com Knowledge Books Quote Link to comment
