+kekamuf
Howdy, I am planning a trip to Land Between the Lakes soon and have been loading up caches in the area and have noticed a trend. Almost every cache that shows a TB or Coin has been logged as missing in the last couple of days. It appears someone has cleaned out all of them. This has to be the work of one person because it's so many cache's in close proximity to one another. Six are missing out of one cache alone. Search zipcode 42045. We have several TB's we were planning to start on a journey, but now i am wondering if i want to leave them at LBL. I know you take a chance when you leave these items, but come on, we aren't leaving gold bars in these caches. Just some worthless items that others would like to find and the owners would like to watch as they move along. Eric Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
First of all welcome to the hobby. In case you are wondering why no one has replied it is because the issue of missing travelers is well known throughout the community. For a host of reasons that have been discussed (mostly in the TB forum) it happens. It is something you just have to get used to. Quote Link to comment
Keystone
I am moving this thread to the South and Southeast forum, in case there are local geocachers who can offer opinions about whether the observed behavior is orchestrated vs. cumulative. Quote Link to comment
