Oregon 550 or GPSMAP 62s

So I've tried them both. I like the touch screen and I would use the camera on the Oregon. I like the 62s. It seems super accurate and i like the menu system and the physical buttons may be better come the winter. I like them both but cant decide.

Which would you pick and why?

i opted for the 62s, buttons instead of screen. using gloves in -40 up here in canada, touch screen didn't seem right. also have a 5y old holding it and using it and it gets dropped, so i like to have the case for it. it was cheaper too.

here on the east coast (Nova Scotia) we dont get - 40 too often but i get your point...(and Im glad I live here )

I just bought the 62S and loaded up 1700 caches. I'll be busy for a long while.

some driving... but not much, mostly geocaching and hiking... I thing the 62s is going to be the unit I get...

I think the Oregon is better for driving, due to bigger / touch screen (though it lacks the night mode found on the 62 series).
