+Carbon Hunter
One of Camel Master's caches has made the local press. Great exposure once more. I add his email as a quote for your review. Fellow geocachers, In September's edition of Oman2day there is an article about geocaching, or rather about a novice journalist geocacher visiting his first cache "Arja's Ziggurat" in Wadi Jizzi. You can find it here: http://www.omantoday.co.om/disCon.aspx?Cval=234 It is the intention that the journalist visits one of Oman's caches each month and describes his adventures in getting there, thereby also highlighting various facets of the country which may not be well known to the average reader. A great initiative and a good advertisement for geocaching, given that there are at the moment only 3 active geocaching teams in Oman! Enjoy the read! Robert Quote Link to comment
+cincol
It would be great if we could get a local jounalist here in Qatar to do something similar. I will see what I can do about getting some support from the papers. Quote Link to comment

+me N u
Good to see geocaching in a positive light in the news. Funny how these articles aren`t mentioned in the weekly newsletter (probably because its outside the U.S.A.!!) Quote Link to comment
+Carbon Hunter
I also think we need to submit them to GS.com. I sent the most recent one into to them this week (the Sur harbour link). We'll see if it makes the news? Quote Link to comment
