+coast2coast2coast
We just registered our first bug and not ten minutes later it had gone over 26 thousand miles. The bug was sitting right in front of my wife and I. The fellow goes by .....amckinnon. I deleted all his fake logs and the bug is still in his name. Does anyone have any suggestions as what should/could be done to prevent further abuse of this fun game. Quote Link to comment
+Dekaner
Make sure you don't give out the bug number, either in the description or in the photo. That's how they're doing it. - Dekaner of Team KKF2A Quote Link to comment
iryshe
Banned the user. Sorry to hear about that. Just grab it back and it will be in your "hands" Jeremy Jeremy Irish Groundspeak - The Language of Location Quote Link to comment
+coast2coast2coast
we just deleted 40 emails...Talk about Lessons Learnt... Does it mean that we cant use the same number again? Or should I try a pic again without showing the dog tag Quote Link to comment
+T-storm
Depending on your pleasure, either edit your picture by "smudging" the number on the tag or take a new one where the number doesn't show. Delete the old pic from the TB page and upload and activate your new/editted one. T-storm http://www.cordianet.com/geocaching Quote Link to comment
