Radius from Zip

Is it possible to get more than a 10 mile radius from the Zip Code?? Just curious for my area towns are not very often and some of the little ones have no post office for a Zip. So seems there will be some blank areas that ought to have markers.

Select the radial search item and you can search from any set of coordinates. I had the same problem you did. There were lots shown along the lake but not much inland.

 

You can then print the list of PIDs and come back here to log the finds

Actually when I went and looked you can also enter a set of corrdinates for any place you want to be the center of the 10 mile circle. I Think NGS is limited to 20 mile circle.

Do your regular radius from ZIP search, then type &dist=30 at the end of the URL. This will increase your radius to 30 miles.

That's what I've been looking for! Much easier than going zip to zip in our county an weeding out the over runs.
