BroodMcEto
Last year, I started an account for my son - Deezo, but I have no idea what I made his password is. To make it worse, I don't remember what email I used to register him. We haven't cached in a long time, almost a year, so when we went out yesterday, I was excited to update his finds... only to find I forgot what I had done... Is my only recourse to start a new account for him? He's only 6. Quote Link to comment
TeamKayAsh
Hopefully, the admins can help you out. If not, maybe make an account for BOTH of you (that's what I chose to do). With small kids, they may not be able to update or log in as easily. Think of a name that's easy to remember (my username is using part of my two girls' names, Kayla and Ashley). Use an email that isn't carrier spacific (use a gmail or yahoo, etc) in case you change providers. Lastly, write the info down where you KNOW you'll remember it. Sorry this got a little "wordy" but I hope it helps you or someone else! Quote Link to comment
Motorcycle_Mama
You would need to have the email address. Groundspeak will not send account information to anyone other than the validated email address. Read this from the Groundspeak Knowledge Books. http://support.Groundspeak.com//index.php?...page&id=111 Quote Link to comment
+Bear and Ragged
You could try sending a message "Send Message" from your account to your sons account... See if you get an email, and what email account it comes from... Edited May 31, 2010 by Bear and Ragged Quote Link to comment
BroodMcEto
Thanks everyone - I did do the send message, but haven't found that email yet. I figured I'd have to make another account for him... oh well. Quote Link to comment
BroodMcEto
Got it. Thankfully the sign in doesn't kick you out after a few tries. I just kept trying different passwords until I got it. SO problem solved... thanks everyone. Quote Link to comment
