  1. Got it. Thankfully the sign in doesn't kick you out after a few tries. I just kept trying different passwords until I got it. SO problem solved... thanks everyone.
  2. Thanks everyone - I did do the send message, but haven't found that email yet. I figured I'd have to make another account for him... oh well.
  3. Last year, I started an account for my son - Deezo, but I have no idea what I made his password is. To make it worse, I don't remember what email I used to register him. We haven't cached in a long time, almost a year, so when we went out yesterday, I was excited to update his finds... only to find I forgot what I had done... Is my only recourse to start a new account for him? He's only 6.
  4. Hello - I got involved in geocaching through a friend (isn't always like that?) a few years ago. I didn't have a GPSr, but went along with them on several hunts. We soon moved, and while I had always intended on continuing, it took almost 4 years to get back into it. So a couple of weeks ago I broke down and bought a GPSr (FINALLY) and started up again. I took my older 2 kids (I have 3) with me for the first outing. My son loved it, my daughter liked it, but not enough to go again. Since that one, we've been out several times and my son and I have just really enjoyed it. He mostly enjoys getting out and then swapping 'treasures' when we find one. I usually try to take the camera with me, and take pictures as we go. I also have been keeping a blog about our hunts - http://mcelroygeocache.blogspot.com/. Feel free to check it out. We'll post more as we go. We try to get out every couple of days.
  5. The cheapest I've found is through Walmart.com. They have a Garmin Etrex H available for delivery through their website. They are (were) $83, plus tax and shipping. Came out to less than $90. Fairly cheap considering. Also, check pawn shops in your area.
  6. Hello. I'm fairly new to the sport and have enjoyed it greatly. Several times a year, we (my family) treks out to Abilene (TX) via Hwy 36. Just out of curiousity, is there a way to look up caches along a stretch of road? Or do I basically have to start out at a point and look up caches 'near' each location along the route we take? Thanks in advance.
