+s32144
Each week I use GSAK and MyGeocachingProfile.com to run my stats and each week they have different numbers, i.e., this week GSAK shows 2522 finds on 2519 unique geocaches and MyGeocachingProfile.com shows 2520 finds on 2519 distinct caches. Also my stat bar did not change today it shows 2518 with 19 hidden caches (I have 20) and the rank stats bar shows 2520 finds. Does anyone know why there is such a difference in these stats and/or how do I fix them so they are correct? Hope I put this in the correct forum. Thanks so much. Sallie/s32144 Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
I can only address the GSAK issue. The most common reason for that is you logged caches more than once. If you didn't do it on purpose it can happen when you try to log and the computer times out so you do it again Or maybe you meant to "write a note" and "found" it was in the type of log box plus you meant to "will attend" when you actually did a "Attended" and did the real attended later. When you drop your My Finds PQ into GSAK look at the bottom. In the middle it will show how many waypoints. On the right in the yellow box it shows finds. If the yellow box is higher than the all waypoints they you have more than one find logged on a single cache. If you get the Remove Duplicates Macro from the GSAK board it will filter and show you logs that have the same coordinates. I ran it some time ago when I had this problem and it showed a couple of duplicates. Review them carefully since it works on coordinates not GC numbers. I have some duplicates show up where events show up and the same location but are on different dates. Edited May 27, 2010 by Walts Hunting Quote Link to comment

At the bottom of the page, set "My Found Count" to "Greater Than or Equal To", with a value of 2. Click GO. Quote Link to comment

+dandcp
I have a similar but maybe slightly different issue. I did try the remove and check for dups macro and it found none. In GSAK it says I have 142 finds.(yellow) 5 of the are archived(red) but in my geocaching online profile I have 138 finds. I think what has happened is I made a few mistakes in my logs and deleted them online and then logged it in again as a find. Maybe GSAK is finding the archived finds and marking them as double finds? any macros out there to fix this one? Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+Walts Hunting
Go to the database in GSAK where you keep your finds. Delete all of them. Run a new finds query and put it in. Overlaying a new one over the old into the database doesn't correct the previous error. Quote Link to comment
