custom hide

I have made a custom hide out of a broken tree limb and have hidden a 3" tube inside it with a signing sheet. My question is, do I call it a micro ar a regular size ?

Sounds like a micro to me.

I'd go with UNKNOWN size.

Sounds like a micro to me too. It may be regular size camouflage, but it's a micro size container.

 

From the "What am I looking for?" perspective, I'm looking for the 3" tube inside the tree limb, not the tree limb itself.

 

From the "What fits in the container?" perspective, I'll only be able to find/leave micro-size travelers and trade items (if that).

From the Cache Listing Requirements:

 

Micro (35 mm film canister or smaller - less than approximately 3 ounces or .1 L - typically containing only a logbook or logsheet)

 

Small (sandwich-sized plastic container or similar - less than approximately 1 quart or 1 L - holds trade items as well as a logbook)

 

Regular (plastic container or ammo can about the size of a shoebox)

 

Large (5 gallon/20 L bucket or larger)

I would go with unknown. Personally I do the OK, what am I looking for thing and if I am looking for a micro I might not look in something like that. But it is up to you

i would also go with Unknown, on my blackberry i normally put a little reminder of the cache size on my coordinate so i have a rough idea of what sort of hids to look at.......

 

if its a regular lock lock it eliminates most of the hides, but then if the listing said micro i wont bee looking for a tree.
