Allan CacheMate doesn't feed information into MemoryMap, you have to create the cache list in GSAK for MemoryMap using "File/Export/MemoryMap". You then import that list into the PC MemoryMap and "MobileDevice/Export Data to Device". You will have to configure the MemoryMap export to work with CacheMate. In "Link", enter "cmate://%code" (without the quotes). You may also wish to enter "%code" into "Name on GPS", and "%Name (%Dif/%Ter)" into "Waypoint comment", again without quotes. As far as MemoryMap telling you where you are is concerned, you need to configure it for the serial port your PDA uses. Rgds, Andy Edited April 3, 2010 by Amberel Quote Link to comment
+The Blorenges
I've written a guide on exporting a GSAK database to a PDA to use with Memory Map and Cachemate. Also uses Lordelphs excellent icons to display caches as icons with details such as whether they are active or not or have trackables in them. Have a look at my resource website (link under my name) and go to the Paperless page. Chris (MrB) UK Geocaching Information & Resources website www.follow-the-arrow.co.uk Quote Link to comment
+rutson
I've written a GSAK macro to simplify the export from GSAK to memory map. http://gsak.net/board/index.php?showtopic=13032 Main advantage is zero configuration (but plenty of tweaks). Install the macro and run it, the caches display in MM with the LE icons Quote Link to comment
