+2seek and 2find
We hid our first cache the Saturday. Was wonder how long does it take for it to get published? We are getting this message(This cache has not been reviewed yet. Once it is published, it will be listed on the site. Check the logs to see if the reviewers have left a note for this listing.) on our page. Does anybody have any info i need to know about. Thanks. Link to comment
+psy2orange
i've only posted 4 caches, and the longest it took to be reviewed was 3 days and the shortest ten minutes. Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Expect 72 hrs., perhaps longer (depends on the volunteer reviewer workload). Yours will be examined in the order which it was received -- bribery does not work. If approved less than 72 hr. it is a bonus, and it does happen. Link to comment
Keystone
Thanks for hiding a cache! Your reviewer will be along to look at it soon, as their schedule permits. The confirmation message you received after submitting your cache says that the service goal is to provide an initial review within 72 hours of submission. That's just a goal - please remember that sometimes "life gets in the way" for site volunteers. Whether your cache is published right away after it's reviewed will depend on the absence of any listing guideline issues. Many caches are published upon the first review. Your cache, however, has a significant listing guideline issue. Your reviewer will explain how to fix this. +Lil Devil
Does anybody have any info i need to know about. Read the Cache Listing Guidelines, especially the section on saturation. Then go to your new cache page, and scroll down to just below the hints, and find a link to "Find... ...all nearby caches" - click that link. Then, with the cache saturation guidelines in mind, determine if you have a problem. Link to comment
