Caches (Travel bug hotels) in airport terminals?

Do you know of any Travel bug hotels in airport terminals for easy access to travelers making a connection? If so, how have people gone about getting permission? What type of cache container is used?

I cannot imagine that there are any physical caches located within a major airport. Between security issues, permission, and adequate GPS usage inside a building I would be very surprised if anyone provide an example.

 

There are a few caches just outside airport property, including the RDU TB Hotel which is just off of the access road between the airport and interstate, placed behind the Hilton with permission. It gets quite a bit of traffic. There was a TB hotel just off of the Denver airport property, but I think that one is gone now.

I know there aren't any at DFW International and I doubt there ever will be given the tight security these days. You have to drive a ways (5 + miles) off property to get to the nearest cache.

Even if you could obtain permission (highly doubtful), it would require the use of a GPS to be listed. Would that be possible in an airport?

This one is not in the terminal, it is outside. But it's on the airport grounds and they did get permission from the Director.

This one is located in the transit area of a major International airport, placed with permission. But I doubt you'll learn much from it, considering it is about 10,000 miles from Alberta You can actually get GPS reception there, but it is easier following the photos.
