+jeffreybike Posted February 7, 2010 Author Posted February 7, 2010 I guess left something out, I have a Garmin Oregon 200. thanks, jeffreybike Quote
+KeeperOfTheMist Posted February 7, 2010 Posted February 7, 2010 Under Menu GPS->Setup, Set to your gps, then GPS Send Waypoints. or if i remember right the oregon can handle pocket query GPX files without conversion (Dont quote me though cause i do not own an oregon) Also you can export them as Garmin POI files and have proximity alerts added to them. only catch is zoom level required to see POI icons (mines 300m zoom level or closer). +StarBrand Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 I guess left something out, I have a Garmin Oregon 200. thanks, jeffreybike On that unit - no need for any software at all. Unzip the pocket query and place the GPX files from it on your Oregon in the [drive:]\garmin\gpx folder while it is connected to your PC in mass storage mode. Unhook and go caching!! Thats all you need to do. Quote
