+NOV8TR
A model number for your unit, and a more detailed description of the process you were using (that is now not working) would be helpful. Quote Link to comment
+ecanderson
I got a tomtom for Christmas and am having problems getting it to take Coords. Started out good, then it just quit taking them. Help? As the post above recommends, we could use some additional information to help you with your specific problem. I assume you're going to the Navigate To, moving to the page that follows the first Nav page, and telling your unit you wish to navigate to coordinates. Tell us what happens from there. FYI: GSAK (www.gsak.net) is perfectly capable of taking a geocaching.com Pocket Query and exporting it to TomTom's preferred *.OV2 file format, turning your queries into a POI file. You can then navigate directly to caches using your TomTom. The bigger screen is much easier to work with for street navigation, and if it also provides spoken street name direction (depends upon the model), so much the better. All you do is take the OV2 file created by GSAK and slide it over into your map folder with your computer. The $30 per year cost at geocaching.com for a premium membership is worth it for the ability to create Pocket Queries alone. Edited January 4, 2010 by ecanderson Quote Link to comment
