+SASQUATCH75
I am a teacher in Oregon who needs help. I need an inexpensive unit to use for my classroom. We plan on geocaching and performing community service while treasure hunting in the form of Trash for cache. Can you help me? Beau Canfield 541-520-3432 Quote Link to comment
+cerberus1
I'd probably go with the gpsr we started out with... Garmin Legend. Basic, it'll get you to the right spot and with a class with you, close will be good enough Ebay's probably your best bet to go cheap. Glad to see someone taking an interest in Cache In, Trash Out - or CITO. Also, if you KEEP the aluminum cans that are collected (CJ does) , you'll pay for the unit and have a little something for the kid's kitty. Nothing better than a pizza they earned with clean-up money Cache safe. Quote Link to comment

Our family went to a Rummage Sale and found a Garmin etrex for $5 bucks and that's what started our Geocaching fun. Quote Link to comment
