How do I get a map of my geocache finds?

It's a lot easier if you are a paid member... but let me see if I can figure out how to do it with the basic free membership.

1) Go to the "find a cache" page.

2) Scroll down to where it says "Other search options." In the box labeled "Found by Username" type in your user name.

3) At the bottom where it says "Waypoint Downloads," click "Check All" and then Click "Download Waypoints."

4) If you haven't already accepted the license agreement, do it here. Then go back and do 3 again.

5) You'll download a file called "geocache.loc."

You can open this file in Google Earth, or most other mapping software.

You might need to do step 3 more then once... I think you can only download 20 at a time that way.

If you become a "Premium member" one option you get is to download all all of your finds all at once.

Either way you do it, you can drag/drop the file into google earth and the program will map them out for you. It's kind of fun to see what kind of "mark" you've made. :o

I keep a GPX database of all caches I've found (and lost) that I can easily convert with GPSBabel, and display with DeLorme Street Atlas USA 2009.

(which goes for $40-US).. Likewise importable to Garmin Mapsource.

Needn't be a premium member, but it is a good idea to get the premium membership to have access to all the information.
