+UKCacheMag
I have just update my Oregon with the new firmware release and mapping is much faster. I am toynig with putting some decent os style maps onto it as i ended up wandering of the footpaths today and had to do some explaining to an farmer who was not happy with me. I see garmin do the discovery map things but I wondered if there are any alternatives? I know this should probably be on the gps and technology thing but its this forum that i know and trust most of the postings Quote Link to comment
+Gushoneybun
Take a look here Talkytoaster's map just a little further down the page and you can add to them as well. Quote Link to comment
+UKCacheMag
Well i have downloaded them and seem to have installed no problem. I look forward to giving them a try very soon out in the field! Along the footpaths and not somewhere I should not have been... Quote Link to comment
+The_Street_Searchers
I have got the OS maps On my Oregon 300 and they seem to work pretty well, although they are only 1:50k. They do take a little while to load if you are scrolling around but I haven't installed the latest firmware update yet which may help. Quote Link to comment
