dictum9
TOPO U.S. 24K I am surprised they released DVDs with SouthEast like Arkansas and such but no east coast? I think these maps should look really sharp on Colorado. When they come out, I will upgrade my 60CSx to Colorado. Quote Link to comment

I'm pretty sure they have it for most (all) states. Quote Link to comment

+Redwoods Mtn Biker
Yeah, you have to look for multi-state maps there. I wish they were tagged / indexed better. Quote Link to comment

If you look at other maps, some of them explicitly say they are 24K, in the absense of that statement, I have to assume it's not. Quote Link to comment
snowfleurys
... I wish they were tagged / indexed better. They are. In the 'search for nearby maps' select the state you are interested in - it will show a list of the mapsets which pertain to that state. It does not specifically state that it's 24K or mention any resolution. Each mapauthor is responsible for including such information. So far there is no definition of what 24K quality/resolution is. Some of the source data used to build these mapsets do not specify the scale of their data; some source data is of a mixed scale. Date of information is also important. One mapset stated it used the 'latest' - which was true at the time, but was not 8 months later when the source did a major update. Quote Link to comment
dictum9
At this point I am just waiting for Garmin to release a DVD for the East coast. Looks like they are slowly working from the WEst coast to the East coast, some southern states have been added recently. Quote Link to comment
