  1. Thanks! I too have struggle much too long with having to insert a CD anytime I wanted to use my maps. In my case it was roads and recreation. As per Neo Geo's advice I uninstalled mapsource, copied the roads and rec file to my hard disk, then reinstalled mapsource from the hard drive files. It was then a simple matter of downloading the latest version of mapsource off the garmin website and I was back in business. Pretty easy even for me--a non computer person.
  2. [Ok, I just found that my 300 w/v.2.54 beta would not communicate with POI Loader v.2.5.2. I tried it on 2 different PCs and my laptop all running XP. I uninstalled POI Loader 2.5.2 and went back to POI Loader 2.4.2 and it works fine. I'm having the same trouble with my 300. Where can I find a copy of POI Loader 2.4.2? Don
  3. Are you trying to download "archived tracks"? If so then you must follow the following steps graciously provided by GO$Rs: You'll need to go into Mapsource and File->Open and select gpx from the drop down list. Then you can navigate to your Colorado and open the gpx track files you want. Manually archived tracks are saved in [drive]:\Garmin\GPX, the FAQ has the actual file name and the auto archived tracks in [drive]:\Garmin\GPX\Archived\<number>.gpx . Don
  4. I've downloaded your maps....and they are beautiful. Is there any way for you to add cities? BTW I look forward to your Wisconsin maps! Don
