+GoNorthWest
Many of you are familiar with Moun10Bike's Northwest Trails mapset for Garmin GPS receivers. Well, I'm proud to say that a version for the southwest United States is now also available! Working with Moun10Bike, I have been able to put together data for Arizona and New Mexico, with plans to expand to Nevada and Utah. My first alpha version of the mapset is available for download (Windows and Mac) and testing. You can find it at: http://www.outdoor-resources.com/SW_Trails/ This is a community-driven product, so I would very much appreciate feedback and any data you would like to contribute. Thanks! +Puppy Dawg
California? Or just wishful thinking... Quote Link to comment
+GoNorthWest
I've been toying with the idea of doing California. I think it would be its own mapset, given how big the state is. Give me a couple months and check back. Mark Quote Link to comment

Give me a couple months and check back. Mark I haven't looked at your latest version, but I did download and look at MB10's N/W map a few months ago. Although, I haven't used it in the field, I was greatly impressed on how it looked in Mapsource and on my Map60CS. California would be an invaluable asset to me. I don't know how you get your data, but if Garmin .GDB files, with track data can help, I have saved a track of almost every trail I have hiked in Southern California, over the last four years. Some are just deer/unimproved ridge trails that lead to caches on high peaks. I also have about 80% of the Backbone Trail, tracked out. If this can be of any help to you, I would be more than happy to send you the files. Don Quote Link to comment
Tahosa and Sons
Mark: Well I have it on Mapsource and it sure looks ok. Not sure about putting it on the GPS, that may be out of my technical league. But I have all the trails for San Tan Regional Park and I would send to you if you want them. Quote Link to comment
+GWRoss
I was hoping that your Southwest mapset would cover Southern California too. It looks good. It's just too small. Quote Link to comment
