SD-Weiss
We were wondering if there is a good geocaching app for the Blackberry. We recently got a Blackberry Tour and want to use it for geocaching if we don't have our gps'r. Quote Link to comment
wxsby
I have a new Blackberry Curve. It requires a Bluetooth GPSr. Any suggestions? Quote Link to comment
Pacholik
I know a lot of people like the blue logger. It is about $99 Quote Link to comment
Arrow42
Here's the three programs I've used. I still prefer my GPSr for some things. The GPSr seems to react quicker when I'm not moving very fast. CacheBerry - free trial BlackStar Navigator - free Geocache Navigator - free trial Quote Link to comment
papachoochoo
We were wondering if there is a good geocaching app for the Blackberry. We recently got a Blackberry Tour and want to use it for geocaching if we don't have our gps'r. I have Sprint for service on my BB Curve, they allow GeoNavigator which is really nice. They internal gps on the good, but for hard finds I still use the Garmin. A new free app is Blackstar. It is simular to Cacheberry. They both require downloads from the Geocaching.com. Verizon locks out the internal gps so if you have them, your BB will be no more than a pda unless you invest in a bluetooth gps. Goodluck. Quote Link to comment
Arrow42
Verizon locks out the internal gps so if you have them... Not on the Storm or the Tour. Anyway, I've been using Geocache Navigator and it's been quite helpful. I was hoping it could replace my GPSr, but unfortunately it has not. Nothing other then a GPSr can give me that "whats near me" on a map glance that the GPSr can. Quote Link to comment
