  1. We are coming to Vancouver for a couple days from the US. Are there any must do caches? Also any big travel bug drops.
  2. Thanks for posting those. I had considered going out there yesterday but it's just as well that I didn't under the circumstances... With regards to the last photo, that looks to me -- at least from the photo -- as if it was (before it burned) one of those straw erosion control rolls... We went and checked on the area. Its all the way out the more by the Navy Base Line. Santee dumpside is fine.
  3. http://www.justsilence.com/SanteeFire/SanteeFire.htm These pictures are from the santee fire. From where these pictures are we probably lost a LOT of caches. We will be out there soon replacing our caches.
  4. What? Are you in the wrong forum section? Or do you want to adopt him or something?
  5. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!!! May 2010 be an awesome caching year. We have a goal to reach 4,000 by the end of the year.
  6. We recently have been fostering dogs for Lab Rescue and we have a dog that we are trying to get adopted. His name is Buck. He is about 8 years old and we think about 60 pounds. He is loving and is trained. He wants a permanent and loving family as he has been locked in a kennel for the last week and we think he was in an abusing family. There is a picture of him at San Diego Lab Rescue.com but I will attempt to post a picture on this page. Here is the link to Lab Rescue were you can see Buck's page- http://www.labrescuers.org/RP_AdoptMe.asp?aid=1689.
  7. Attaboy Tom, drop an Yrium-card on Sunday ... that should trigger a mad dash to Max's Favorite Park. I can see it now, BoysnBarrie rushing there after church services wearing her finest Sunday-go-to-meeting high-heels and cha-cha dress. One thing missing at Max's Favorite Park is an online Webcam. There's a misprint in this set that seems an appropriate finale to this year of zany San Diego Geocaching. Pretty much it reveals what sort of minds are drawn to Geocaching. Don't miss this misprint ... y'all will understand when y' see it. It has been a great year for the Yrium cards, thanks ever-so much to FlagMan's devotion and dedication. For my part it is an honor to help keep Yrium's memory with us. SUPER great design. Hoping to pick mine up on the way to the mx track around 11:30.
  8. Dave, I am 7 puppies shy of having zero! So I basically need them all. Let me check my schedule when I get home and get back with you. Great- it would be nice to have someone along. Dave We need those one also but we have a soccer tournament on Saturday. We will have to go another time.
  9. Bark, Bark, whoof 1000 (Piglet9 will understand) Nice Job to everyone lately!!
  10. http://store.colemans.com/cart/container-d...ml?currency=USD If you noticed they are sold out. It would seem the military no longer issues these out and has stopped making them many years ago. So they are going to become harder and harder to find, if at all. I know what you mean. I found one website that still has some instock but they cost $8 each and they only have 2 left.
  11. I was just wondering if anyone knows where to get decon containers in bulk that aren't 8 bucks each? Also, Bison tubes cheap?
  12. WoooooooHoooooooooooo!!!! Congrats! We really look forward to seeing your family Milestone Pictures! Congratulations!!! 5,000 WOW CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. What, no lawn darts?!?!? Looking forward to the challenge!! Sounds like a great holiday diversion!! Might be a while for me, though, with the campout this weekend and work starting to heat up a bit... What!? You have a job!? Let's see...I have a job now. And because of it, I have no time to work on these puzzles. Or, I could neglect my job to work on the puzzles. And then I won't have a job any more. And then, I'll have more time to work on these puzzles... Hmmm...I'm beginning to see a logical solution to this conundrum... These puzzles look so interesting that I think I'm going to quit my job and work on them. The only puzzle that I think I can solve is the Scrabble one but nothing else.
  14. I read in his log that he's going to the geo-event tonight in Tierrasanta because his sugery was postponed.
  15. 500 hides, how the heck to you keep track of them??? Way to go. You'll catch up to King Boras pretty soon. Now this is what we call a Milestone..Thanks so much for all of your wonderful hides...Many have had us groaning while others crack us up...Never will look at a pine tree the same nor will a bird house be used for birds alone...Seen a rodent or two as well as original lock-n-lock's.. We have hiked till our feet and legs about gave up but the thrill of finding your caches keeps us going. Why we still remember our trip to Fallon,Nv. to celebrate #10,000...J&J..What a Team!
