Has anyone ever found a "GeoKret"?

and am curious about them. We've never even heard of these. Can anyone offer us any info about them?

As far as I can tell, Geokrety are like travel bugs, but are not sold or administered by geocaching.com -- they're travel bug alternatives, which are loggable on their own side, but as far as I can tell are not trackable on geocaching.com.

I'm pretty sure that if I post a link here, it'll be removed, as these codes (which are free) are in competition with travel bugs. However, if you just Google "geokret", you'll find the link. Look for the organizational (not commercial) URL that has the plural form (as in my first paragraph, above).

Edited to add: it looks like one of the strengths of this approach is that the object is then trackable through caches belonging to different caching organizations (geocaching.com isn't the only one). The weakness, of course, is that geocaching.com cache inventories will not show this item in their inventory lists.
