geocoinclub Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 This is the fourth playing card geocoin in a Mackey Made It series that we're proud to debut. Purchase it HERE! Coin Stats: 2.00" tall 4.0 mm thick Antique Gold plating Soft Enamel with Translucents Trackable with a unique icon Mr Mackey has this to say: We all know the King(s) of Caching I'm sure and the reigning Queen in our caching circle is not be outdone by anyone short of the Caching Ace of course so the rest of us often fall into the knave or Jack category ourselves. We're not masters of every situation or even masters of a specific type of cache, but we enjoy getting out there and giving it our all while enjoying the day of fun. We enjoy learning a little about all types of caching and often give it a shot regardless of how challenging just for the experience. We're the Jacks of All Cache and the masters of none, but we give it our all and we have the most fun! Stay tuned for more fun cards in the near future Quote
+FoxMulders Posted July 31, 2009 Posted July 31, 2009 (edited) Wow these look great! I ordered the Jack and Ace...anyone know if/where I might be able to find the King and Queen or are they on a permanent sabbatical? Edited July 31, 2009 by FoxMulders Quote
+fox-and-the-hound Posted August 1, 2009 Posted August 1, 2009 The Jack or Knave is a person of wit, wisdom and often trickery usually of humble birth. What humble knave is portrayed on this geocoin? He starred in a precedent setting television series between 1955-1958. The first person to identify this actor's mug and role in the series is welcome to an Antique Silver Artist Edition of this geocoin! Put on your thinking caps! Hint: Much argument continues to this day as to the existence of this portrayed knave's actual existence. Quote

+fox-and-the-hound Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Congratulations anne.and.eli! It is indeed Mr. Greene's mug that I used as a model for the illustrated face of the Jack. The infamous knave seemed an apt rogue for this coin. email or PM your snailmail for your AE coin and congrats again! Quote
+anne.and.eli Posted August 2, 2009 Posted August 2, 2009 Yay!!! IMDB had incorrectly said that the series ran until 1960 so I spent a lot of time looking at other options before I found some pages that had the correct ending date. Thank you!! Email will be sent in the next minute. I love this series. I'm saving pennies to grab one of the Aces! Quote
+The Moop Along Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Did anybody else notice that these are sale now? For a great price! Quote
