+Michael_Schaap
Hey there. I just started to hide caches but ran into a problem. Too close to another cache. So how do you figure out if you are too close? Not sure? Michael Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
If you're unsure about where other caches may be, use the search function http://www.geocaching.com/seek/ If you put your proposed cache coordinates into the Lat, Long boxes it will bring up a list of the 20 nearest caches. You will see only the public coordinates for those caches! There may be hidden multi-cache stages or puzzle solutions as well. Generally a puzzle solution will be within 2 miles of its "bogus" coordinates, and most multicaches will start and finish in the same park or general area. Quote Link to comment
+Michael_Schaap
Yeah, but I mean your out in the field and place a cache. You come back home to punch it in and get a msg saying it's too close to one. I do have Cacheberry on my Blackberry. Could that help me when I'm out in the field? Quote Link to comment

Not sure? Michael If you use GSAK, there is a macro that will take a PQ you provide and export it to a .KML file, you can open that file up with Google Earth and see the "ring" around each cache (528 feet I believe) and you can find a hide location with that. OR You can ask your reviewer nicely .. Quote Link to comment
