GPS UNITs What Would You Like To Know?

I found it ironic that Garmin Help Desk people are telling their customers to check out my GeoSnippits videos because they explain what to do with a GPS better than they can explain.

With that being said I would like to hear from you; What functionality on a GPS you would like explained?

Need to know how to manually put coords?

Delete existing waypoints?

Mark trails/tracks to see where you have been?

etc.

Your input has been dictating most of the GeoSnippits episodes anyways so let me know what you would like to see.

The different coordinate display modes. My GPS came in a mode that wasn't the default display for geocaching.com and it really confused me until I did some Google searches and figured out how to change it in my default settings.

Actually, now that I think about it - it might be a bit more productive to have a tutorial on how GPS coords are formatted and why.

Things you shouldn't do with your GPS.

You gotta have some fun! :)

At least cover safe driving.

* Don't edit waypoints while driving (Hello, State Farm?)

* Don't let your passenger put the gps on the dashboard over the airbag. (Ka-Ping!)

* Don't leave your gps on the hood of your car. (Done it)

* Don't study your gps while looking for ground zero near cliffs. (Geronimo!)

* Don't believe everything your gps tells you. (Dear, the NUVI says it's a road)
