beware of muggles

Have you ever had a cache that told you beware of muggles and it's under a skirt of a light pole, right in front of Walmart entrance , in a 20x40' planter right on the corner of to major intersection .

Please tell how not so smart fellow caches are.

Walmart isn't so bad (I plan to put one near a walmart soon). I think hiding under light pole skirts is also pretty clever!

On ones like that I just go up and do my thing. If its muggled oh well.

I'm sure some people enjoy the stealth needed in finding caches. That's one thing which makes it harder. It's a big part of the game.

 

Also, it's not only in parking lots, or intersections where you need to beware of muggles. It's almost everywhere... parks, bike baths, hiking trails, neighborhoods, etc...

 

If you aren't comfortable in making the find... you should pass it up. The most important thing is that you have fun geocaching!

Theres one of these near where I work. The cache is under a skirt at a supremely busy gas station thats 24/7 operation at a large intersection. Though, if you go there at around 3am, no ones around... but then you look suspicious as youre the only one in the parking lot fondling up a light pole.
