+solo63137
Just got my Colorado 400t out of the box, set up and talking to the pc... Much like my Garmin Nuvi, this was a breeze... Now comes the question, one of the updates is listed as "GPS Chipset Type M"... I read the manual FAQ and looked online , but could find nothing about the chipset type... I was wondering if I should do this one or not; and if so, what the updates did... I know in the Router, Switch and PC world, just because there is an update, doesn't mean you should do it... So, I thought I'd check with those more in the know than I. Thoughts??? Thanks Quote Link to comment
+g-o-cashers
This updates the firmware for the MediaTek GPS chip in the Colorado -- you'll definitely want this most recent upgrade, it fixes some issues with GPS drift on the Colorado. Quote Link to comment
