Ateam-KY
I had a idea... I love geo caching and plan on hiding several log caches that I plan on hiding. I came up with the idea of placing markers at a gps location and from that location have a certain amount of feet at a certain heading in degrees pointing to the actual cache. You would need a compass to get the heading off course. I thought this would put a different twist on things. Is this an acceptable way of hiding caches... If you need further on this let me know and I will try to explain more. Quote Link to comment
+Team Hurley
We have a multi cache locally here that uses the same concept. It puts you in a spot where you have to then travel a certain distance along a bearing to find the cache. Enjoyed that one. Good luck with it! Quote Link to comment

+wesleykey
Sounds fun. Just make sure you list it as a multi cache since the log will not be at the posted coords. Quote Link to comment
+StarBrand
Often known as an offset cache - it is covered in the guidelines as a multicache. Quote Link to comment
Ateam-KY
Thanks to everyone that replied... I hadn't researched the hiding of new caches a lot... I am sure that this will work very well...I will post some stuff when I get it planted. Quote Link to comment
