+The Blorenges
Pretty much any NiMH batteries will do. The higher the capacity the longer they'll last. I use 2800mAH ones. I got a £6.99 charger from 7dayshop which will do two/four AA's in a couple of hours - comes with a car adaptor too! Set of 4 AA batts is about £5. +M0zez
I have read reviews of the 15 minute charger which were on the whole positive although 15 minutes was pushing it in most cases. I have not used this device so cannot give personal experience, although over the last 18 months I have been using rechargeable batteries in the form of NiMH ans Mah at 1800, 2100, 2450 and 2700. Initially the charge time is a few hours and the usage was more than charging time, however over a short period the charging became longer and the usage deteriorated and it became more of a chore to keep the batteries recharged. I have switched back to alkaline batteries for my model GPS. Got me to thinking, are there any GPSr that use Li-ion batteries? Given my usage on my digital camera at a low Mah the Li-ion battery seems to last an age. Quote Link to comment

Chris (MrB) the regular Ni-Mh ones aren't a patch on these and they're only £6.99 for 4 at the moment. http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_in...ducts_id=105241 Sanyo eneloops come pre-charged and actually hold charge. I'm looking to invest in some of these if only because my Wii handsets keep draining regular rechargeables batteries when we're not using them. Quote Link to comment
Chudley Cannons
My Duracell 15 minute charge works fine. And doubles up as a hand warmer. Quote Link to comment
+mtn-man
My Duracell 15 minute charge works fine. And doubles up as a hand warmer. Same with the Energizer one. I use those in my Oregon and they work great. Quote Link to comment
