Download POI to PC

Hi there!

 

May be someone could help me. Anyone knows if I can download POI from a GPS (Etrex Legend HCx) to a computer? I would like to transfer the POI that I have in my Etrex Legend HCx to another garmin GPS (Oregon 200 from Christmas) that I have. I do not have the csv file. Is there any application that does the opposite of the POI LOADER that gets the POI from the GPS and create a csv file with them?

 

Any suggests are well come.

Like POI unloader? Never heard of such a thing. What happens when you copy the POI.GPI from your Legend's datacard to your 200's?

All you have to do is to copy the file named POI.GPI from your eTrex to your Oregon. You will have your Custom POIs on your new unit. It will not, however, create a CSV file from the data.

 

Also, you can use GPSBabel to extract the contents of a .GPI if you want to go that route instead.
